Libby Adams has taken on the role of official band photographer and content creator for her cousin Cruz Beckham and his musical group The Breakers.

Brooklyn Beckham famously tried to make it as a photographer but the Beckham clan have a new favourite family snapper - Victoria's niece Libby Adams

The 28-year-old photographer joined the Beckham family on Saturday at Reading Festival to document 21-year-old Cruz and his bandmates as they made their festival debut on The Canopy stage.

Victoria Beckham and David Beckham travelled from their £16 million yacht anchored along Italy's Amalfi Coast to rain-soaked Berkshire to watch their youngest son perform. Despite torrential downpours, former England football captain David, 51, and former Spice Girl Victoria, 52, watched from the side of the stage while Victoria kept her sunglasses on.

Following the performance, Victoria reposted two of Adams's photographs to her 33 million Instagram followers. The candid images showed Cruz hugging his parents in the backstage mud. Victoria tagged her niece in the post, directing fans to Adams's account, which currently has 59.8 thousand followers.

Adams also shared a video highlighting her weekend at the event, where she posed with her professional camera and danced backstage with the band. The photographer has been working alongside her cousin throughout The Breakers' international performances this year, with the group publicly describing her as their "content queen" on Instagram.

Documenting their summer tour across social media, Adams shared a photograph of herself and Cruz eating pizza together, captioning the post: "Not quite sure what I’ve done to deserve travelling the US with this lot but here we are."

Family involvement and creative projects

In addition to her photography duties, Adams earned a producer credit on the music video for Cruz's single For Your Love. The production also featured their grandfather, Tony Adams. When releasing the video in February, Cruz thanked his cousin for her work and stated that "there's nothing better" than working with family.

Adams is the daughter of Victoria Beckham's younger sister, Louise Adams. Her prominent role in Cruz's musical venture follows earlier creative pursuits within the family. Nine years ago, Cruz's elder brother Brooklyn Beckham attempted to establish a career as a photographer, backed by his parents, which included the publication of a widely criticized photography book. Brooklyn's relationship with his family has since deteriorated, leaving Adams as the primary photographer capturing the family's public moments.

The audience at Reading included several other members of the Beckham family. Cruz's elder brother Romeo, his sister Harper, and his girlfriend Jackie Apostel were all seen watching the performance. A concertgoer told the Daily Mail: "They are all there listening and supporting Cruz and Victoria has been embracing David affectionately while watching."

Celebrity offspring on the festival lineup

Cruz's debut formed part of a wider presence of celebrity offspring at this year's event. On Friday, Gene Gallagher, the 25-year-old son of former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, performed with his band Villanelle. Moses Martin, son of Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin, also played on Friday with his band People I've Met. Violet Grohl, daughter of Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, was scheduled to take to the stage on Sunday.

Tour schedule and upcoming EP release

Prior to his set, Cruz shared a selfie on his Instagram story with the caption: "Reading, I cannot wait." Following their Reading slot, Cruz and The Breakers are scheduled to travel to Leeds on Sunday to continue a six-date tour organised to launch their upcoming release, the Wear & Tear EP.

The six-track project features the songs Dumb Down, Better Times, WANNABE, Seeing Red, Loneliest Boy, and Wear & Tear.

Cruz explained that the new EP reflects "a life lived", capturing both positive experiences and negative moments along with the "learning curves" between them. He expressed hope that listeners will connect with the shared emotions behind the music regardless of their personal backgrounds.

Reflecting on the themes of the release, Cruz said: "We’ve been high, and low, in love and in pain, jealous, upset - we’ve lived and learned. We’ve all got our wear and tear."
