Léa Seydoux stars in Tender Monster, a drama coming to Netflix on November 18. A limited international theatrical release will begin October 30.
The film follows two women whose lives are shaped by the men around them. Lucy, a successful pianist, moves with her family from Munich to the countryside so her partner Philippe can recover from professional burnout, sacrificing her own career in the process. Elsa, a special investigator, carries the burden of caring for her father, who suffers from dementia. Both women are pushed to face the darker sides of the men in their lives.
Tender Monster competed in the official selection at the 79th Cannes Film Festival, where it had its world premiere in May 2026.
