A British man staying at a Jamaican hotel has been accused of raping a female guest after asking him to borrow a charger.
Dewi Games, 29, an electrician from South Wales, was released on $400,000 (£343,000) bail after appearing at the Sandy Bay Magistrates’ Court in Jamaica on Wednesday.
He was staying with his girlfriend in a hotel in Lucea, Hanover, in northwest Jamaica.

The woman he allegedly raped approached Mr Games and his girlfriend at the hotel’s main pool and asked for a charger at around 8pm on October 25, a police report said.
Games offered to help but insisted on taking the charger back to their hotel room.
Once inside, he asked her for a cup of coffee before pushing her face down on the bed and forcing her to have sex with him, the report added.
The alleged rape was reported to Hanover police and Mr Games was identified in a police inventory.
He appeared before the Parish Court of Lucea on Wednesday.

Senior Parish Court Judge Natisha Fairclough-Hilton set bail at $400,000 with one to three sureties.
She instructed Mr Games to report to the Montego Freeport Police Station in Montego Bay, St. Paul every Monday. James, to report.
A hearing was held on December 6.
