The trailer for the romantic comedy The Good House starring Sigourney Weaver has been released online. The video was posted on the YouTube channel Rotten Tomatoes Trailers.
In the movie, Weaver played Hildy, a divorced woman whose husband left her for another man. Overcoming her alcohol addiction after her divorce, Hildy continues her quiet life on the New England coast where she works as a real estate agent.
Changes in the hero’s life begin with his arrival in the city of Rebecca, played by Morena Baccarin. She becomes Hildy’s new friend. Shortly after their meeting, Hildy decides to rekindle a bold move – rekindling a past relationship with her high school sweetheart Frank (Kevin Kline).
The film also starred Rob Delaney, Rebecca Henderson, Molly Brown and other actors. The protagonist has an important task before her: Hildy must unravel her own past, let go and believe she can be happy.
The film is directed by Maya Forbes and Wallace Wolodarsky. They also prepared the script for the movie together with Thomas Bezucha. The film is based on Anne Leary’s novel The Good House. The movie will be released on September 30.
