Author Stephen King became the most published author in Russia in the first half of 2022. This was reported by TASS with reference to the rating of the Russian Book Room.

Total circulation in six months exceeded one million copies in six months. In addition to the above, 151 editions of the author’s work were published in Russia, which is much more than that of other authors.
Fyodor Dostoyevsky took second place on the list. 82 editions of his books have been published in countries with a total circulation of just over half a million (more precisely, 577,600). Agatha Christie placed third with a circulation of 71 prints and 454,000 books.
Among children’s writers, JK Rowling’s writings were the most frequently published. In the first half of the year, 21 editions were published with a total circulation of 752,000 copies.
Also in Russia, the works of another British writer, Holly Webb, were actively published (80 editions, 556,000 books). Korney Chukovsky also entered the rating with 61 prints with a total circulation of 489 thousand copies.
Recall that earlier Mosfilm made the 10 most popular Soviet science fiction films among Russians.
