Actress Maria Kozhevnikova shared her decision to review the World Health Organization’s (WHO) gender equality guideline and actively adopt a third gender on Instagram Stories*.

The WHO website has made a statement that the concept of gender will now be based on a non-binary concept that “gender identity exists on a continuum” and “gender is not limited to male or female”. Members of the organization noted that the new document was prepared taking into account the latest research data. Experts decided that the previous guidance on gender mainstreaming, released in 2011, is outdated.
