Melanie Goodfall joins Deadline as a Senior International Film Correspondent in London.
Goodfellow joins Deadline’s growing international team from Trade Screen International in the UK, where he was most recently Senior Correspondent for Europe and the Middle East. Goodfellow has worked for Screen for over ten years, dealing with business in France, Europe and the Middle East, telling hundreds of exclusive stories and participating in major international festivals.
Prior to joining Screen, he worked on deals including Variety and Moving Pictures and also contributed to publications such as The Independent. He initially studied journalism at the Reuters news agency and spent four years there in the mid-1990s, working as a reporter in London and Rome.
Goodfellow has dual British and French nationality and is fluent in French and Italian. In London and Rome, he has also worked in Paris, Brussels, Tokyo and Jerusalem.
Goodfellow at Deadline will help the company expand its international presence in Europe and the Middle East. You will work closely with the entire international team and travel to key festivals and events.
