On August 19, the transformation of the Lord or apple savings is celebrated – the Orthodox holiday where crop blessing is traditional. According to popular beliefs, the summer slowly starts to leave and the fruits obtain healing properties. Believers, with apples and strawberries, cook pies from lean dough, accompany the sunset with songs, and believe that the eaten fruits will add power, health and fulfill valuable desires. In order to attract happiness and avoid failures, we tell you what else can and cannot be done today.
What can be done
Dut the fruits and vegetables grown in their gardens.
Make a desire before eating an apple. If it is sincere, it will definitely happen.
Look at the future by Apple. If the eaten apple sour, then difficulties, sweet – happiness and joy is waiting.
Show generosity.
Make a ritual to clean the house. If the Slavs believe that they pass the house with half apples in which the candle is placed, and they read the prayer from the troubles, and then connect it to the second half and bury it from the house, then peace and love will reign at home.
What cannot be done
Do business and housework. It is better to clean up the day before the holiday to get home prosperity and luck.
Kill the insects. This is considered a bad sign. For example, the old Slavs believed that the flies sitting in their hands would bring good luck for next year.
Organize noisy parties. Noisy feasts are unacceptable because it will fall on the holiday assumption. Also, you cannot abuse alcohol and eat meat.
