In England, a cat was born with six claws called Mon. The veterinarians explained this with a rare phenomenon in which one of the embryos was partially absorbed in the mother’s womb. This was reported by the Daily Mail.
This is a rare phenomenon in which one of the twins stops development and partly buried in the body. Mona had two additional claws now hanging from the stomach.

According to veterinarian from the clinic in Norwich, where the animal is observed, the additional limbs are not related to the internal organs and do not pose a health threat. They are only connected to the skin and can be surgically removed if necessary in the future.
Now Mono feels well, eats normally and moves without much difficulty. The owner said that if they do not intervene in the animal, he did not plan to remove excess claws: “He was already a local celebrity. We love him as it is.”
Recently, another fluffy pet was encouraged on social networks: he stopped in a treadmill with cat mistress and helped him lose weight. The story of Oliver and his man can be read here.
