Kate Winslet appeared as a guest on Stephen Colbert’s show, where she admitted that she is very afraid of cows.

The British star claimed that his phobia might surprise some, but he had an explanation. In the past he had been advised to be careful around hoofed animals. “I was told to watch the herd’s behavior and be careful. If cows are wagging their tails, shaking their heads, and flies are flying around, this is a sign that they may be unhappy. If they stand up and turn around, that could be a sign that they’re running toward you,” Kate recalled on Colbert’s show.
“I never thought that I would be so worried. I often go for walks and most of the trails pass through pastures where there are cows. At such moments I am afraid that they might trample me,” the actor admitted.
Winslet also stated that once, while she was walking with her mother, cows followed them. “They walked slowly at first, then they began to catch up almost at a gallop. But there have been many horrific collisions with cows in England. That’s why I always wander around the pastures with anxiety. “I have to deal with it better, cows aren’t that scary,” he concluded.
By the way, on November 21 there was a grand premiere of the movie “Big” (in the original it was just “Li” – Note ed.) starring Kate Winslet. Read more about the film here.
