Canadian actor Angus McInnes passed away at the age of 77. The Hollywood Reporter magazine reported this based on a statement from his family. It is known that the actor died next to his loved ones on December 23, but the cause of death has not yet been announced.
“Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and actor Angus McInnes died on December 23, 2024. He left us peacefully, surrounded by his family and love,” he says in the broadcast.
Angus MacInnes began his career in the 1970s after graduating from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He took part in nearly 70 projects throughout his career. The actor became famous in many ways thanks to his role as the Golden Leader in Star Wars.
Among the films in which he participated are “Witness”, “Hellraiser 2”, “Judge Dredd”, “Eyes Wide Shut”, “Jacket”, “Hellboy: The Hero From Hell”, “Black Orchid”, “Ultimate Invasion”. and “Captain Phillips”. He was also remembered by the audience for his role in the TV series “Vikings” (2013 – 2020).
