During a visit to The Tonight Show, the actor admitted he wasn’t a fan of the Swedish pop band until they soundtracked his frightening trip to Ibiza.
The actor and the company were returning to Ibiza from the island of Formentera on a yacht. There was a storm at night. The star and her friends tried to go to the mainland by inflatable boat, but the boat turned out to be full of holes and sank. Finally, despite the danger, they decided to set out on a yacht.
“We went to the yacht and the storm was getting stronger. Our plates and everything else were flying. ABBA was playing in the background. I held on to the boat as ABBA played and I finally understood their music. “I thought, ‘If we have to die tonight, this is a good soundtrack to die with,'” Fassbender told Jimmy Fallon. The actor admitted that he now really appreciates ABBA’s songs because they remind him to enjoy life every minute.
