The International Commercial Arbitration Court of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation awarded 635,400 euros (more than 67.16 million rubles) from the leader of the Rammstein group Till Lindemann Note ed.) for a canceled concert in Tver. TASS reports this.
As stated in the court decision, an agreement was concluded with the musician, under which he undertook to perform at the Tver festival in August 2021. The duration of the concert was supposed to be 70 minutes. It was noted that the artist’s services were paid in full, but he canceled the performance and did not refund the money.
By the way, this case is also related to the conflict between the festival’s client Maxim Larin and Lindemann’s producer Anar Reiband. Larin planned to conclude an agreement with the artist for the provision of advertising services in the Tver region. Before signing the contract, the concert organizer transferred 10 million rubles to the producer’s account. However, the deal did not materialize and Reyband did not return the money.
Larin filed a lawsuit against the producer. The Konakovo City Court of the Tver Region decided to recover 10 million rubles from Reiband.
