L’One describes childhood trauma: ‘I’m in shock’

L’One shared his memories of childhood trauma on a banned social network.

“Many days now pass in my memory; sad, joyful, happy. I will tell you about one of them. “Looks like I haven’t told this story anywhere,” the rapper began.

The situation occurred in Delgey (Yakutia), when the rapper was seven years old: “One day I was left alone at home. That’s the parents. Pig feed was cooking on the stove and I noticed it was starting to burn. When I tried to move the bucket, I accidentally dropped it on my foot. There is no cell phone. In shock, with socks welded to my feet, I make the only right decision to go to my family friends across the road.”

The rapper received first aid from his friend’s mother, and then “months of recovery and crawling around the house ensued.” Later, the musician told another story about how his friends came to support him. “We sat on the ground, laughed and had fun until we found out half the village was looking for us. “As a result, we were all ripped off by our parents,” he said.

“Apparently I mentioned two. But I like to remember the second one more. “It’s about friendship,” summed up the author of the hit song, “Everybody dancing with their elbows.”

Let’s remember that in the summer of 2019 it became known that L’One had left Black Star. They didn’t say goodbye in the best way: The record company took away L’One’s moniker and song rights for a while. Therefore, at that time the musician performed under his real name Levan Gorozia. In 2021, he still managed to regain his creative moniker. The rapper is now actively writing music and giving concerts. He released his new album “Pirosmani” last week.

The rapper is also doing well in his personal life. He is married to Anna, whom he met before his popularity. The couple raises three children together: daughters Sofiko and Tamara and son Mikhail.
