Delaying the release of the Blade remake from Marvel Studios is becoming a tradition. It will not break down in November 2025. The project continues to be haunted by bad fate.
The film was last planned to be released on November 7, 2025, but it has now been removed from the calendar. According to Deadline, Disney will present the movie “Predator: Badlands” instead. The publication does not say what caused the postponement this time.
It was first announced at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con that the famous Marvel movie starring Wesley Snipes would be remade. It stars two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali. The first problems started due to the global pandemic and strikes in Hollywood.
Two directors subsequently left the project: first Bassam Tariq, whose film was expected to be released in autumn 2022, and then Yann Demange. Cast and crew say it was important for Marvel boss Kevin Feige to make the best Blade movie possible. A studio doesn’t start making movies until it has a great script.
Meanwhile, fans and film critics were delighted when Wesley Snipes, who played the vampire warrior in the original film, appeared in Deadpool as Blade and Marvel Studios’ Wolverine.
