The beige bandeau top is a must-have for next year, but we recommend you wear it now

It seems that next season we won’t be able to do without the bandeau top. French brand Alaïa, which presented its new spring-summer collection last weekend, doesn’t even hint at it, it informs us directly. It’s hard not to notice the abundance of such tops on show: the brand is particularly introducing a version in a beige tone that we’ve definitely added to our wishlist.

For example, Kendall Jenner walked the runway wearing a bandeau top, which she combined with harem pants, heeled flip-flops and an unusual bag. Alaïa’s creative director Peter Mullier proves that such a top can be an ideal basic in an everyday wardrobe and can be easily combined with completely different items.

Bandeau tops were once beloved by the style icon of the 2000s, Sarah Jessica Parker: you probably remember her outfit with a grey version that still looks relevant and stylish. In early autumn, the bandeau can be combined with a wide zip-up hoodie, a trendy cardigan or a bomber jacket in early autumn.
