Hello to all fashionistas! Your fashion editor is here. There are so many trends and brands in my world that I decided to start an online diary where I will make notes about the most important things in the industry. And although such diaries are usually called personal, mine is open to all readers – so you can be aware of the most interesting things.
The first week of autumn was especially successful for the fashion industry. First of all, the long-awaited fashion month has started, so there will be many new trends, catwalks and streets. Secondly, Haider Ackermann has been appointed as creative director of the Tom Ford brand. Thirdly, there were a lot of great covers and campaigns this week. Here we cannot fail to mention Singapore Vogue with Sasha Pivovarova and Hong Kong Vogue with Anya Taylor-Joy. We also invite you to admire the new Stone Island campaign starring Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher.
There were really interesting events this week, so I suggest you take a short digital journey with me into the latest news from the fashion world and learn a little more about our domestic brands, advertising campaigns and collections. Shall we start?

A new season has arrived, which means new brand discounts are waiting for us. That’s why Baon recently presented its limited-edition autumn-winter collection “Why Not?”, which includes everything you need for the cold season. The main model of the women’s line is a high-tech lightweight down jacket with an accent print that appears in the cold. There is also a textured wool jacket with voluminous puffy sleeves, a skirt and bodice made of glossy crinkle lacquer, fringed dresses and soft palazzo pants made of wool.
But men can create a multi-layered mono look for every day with trousers made of thick-cut knitwear, soft wool long-sleeves, a long-sleeved polo and contrasting zip-up trousers, and the look will be completed with a comfortable bomber jacket in a wool blend with moisture-proof impregnation in classic grey or a stylish down jacket in glossy black.

“Working Girl” is one of the iconic films of the 1980s with its fashion for large silhouettes, the cult of successful careers and endless steps of the social ladder reaching to the sky. It was this picture and its main character Tess McGill that inspired the brands Ekonika and 2Mood when preparing their collaboration. The central place in the joint collection is occupied by timeless shoe models related to the modern basic wardrobe: laconic loafers, ankle boots, low shoes, pumps, tube boots and retro-style sneakers. Accessories include spacious shopping baskets, belts and colorful gloves of different lengths. Designers relied on basic noble tones such as black, brown, burgundy, mustard and textures relevant to the new fashion season – natural leather with a delicate shine and velvety split leather. These accessories complete the look not with a loud exclamation mark, but with a stylish point, a convincing argument in business negotiations.

Last week, an event with the brand O’STIN took place in the atmospheric restaurant Fullmoon. There, industry representatives and brand friends were the first to get acquainted with the new collections of the upcoming season and saw how the brand is changing and strengthening its position. The event presented women’s, men’s and children’s autumn-winter collections, a New Year’s capsule and a premium line. The autumn collection delighted its guests with fashionable silhouettes and trendy colors of the upcoming season. This fall, the brand offers fitted jackets, long-haired coats, pleated skirts, leather goods, transparent fabrics and geometric silhouettes. The collection palette: graphite gray, red and dark wine.
The first premium line, O’STIN, also received special attention. It includes women’s and men’s autumn-winter collections, combining natural materials, sophisticated silhouettes and trendy positions. Our favorite: a cardigan in soft angora and a gray suit with a maxi skirt.

We have already said that autumn is the favorite season of fashion influencers and stylists. After all, at this time of year you can experiment with style and apply unusual techniques. True, all this requires new wardrobe items. The Fashion Vibes’s fashion department invites you to pay attention to the autumn collection of Polina Repik, which includes a wool suit with a skirt. And no, it’s not what you think. Instead of a regular jacket, the suit has a short-sleeved and backless model, while the skirt has an accent detail with a frill that can be opened. It looks very nice, I will definitely buy it.

Although September promises to be hot, it is still worth preparing for the real autumn. And we propose to do this together with the brand Mellow, whose new collection continues the main idea of the brand – the creation of modular things. These are ready-made components that are placed in the wardrobe and interact with each other in a harmonious way. T-shirts, shirts, knitwear, skirts, trousers and accessories are layered on top of each other in different combinations.
One of the new highlights of the collection is a loose, plain hooded jacket made of textured wool. The model has a lining that can be removed in early autumn and tied in winter. In combination with a sweater, the jacket will withstand sub-zero temperatures (and that’s a big plus). Two other standouts are a turtleneck sweater made of soft premium wool with cashmere and a large scarf cape.

The sexy yet strict aesthetic of the Office Siren is ruling the fashion scene this year. The fashion influencers are inspired by Gisele Bundchen’s character in The Devil Wears Prada and wear fitted pencil skirts, fitted shirts and stylish glasses. If you want to join the exciting “core”, take note of the new collection from the brand Muliér. It includes trouser suits in two silhouettes – oversized and fitted – and are versatile and suitable for both the office and a late dinner. In addition, Muliér presented a skirt that will become the office siren’s favorite uniform – a tight midi-length model with A-line pleats in black and gray, which is not only a strict monochrome outfit for work, but also a casual outfit with long sleeves and sneakers. The centerpiece of the collection was a bright blue shirt with wide cuffs. And we are already adding it to the cart.

Returning to the office after the holidays affected everyone without exception. Including Russian designers, who presented collections and campaigns in the spirit of the sensational office spirit one after another. So the Russian brand Basis revolutionizes the idea of business images and presents the Not only office collection. The inspiration was a modern and successful girl. She does not lock herself in the office, but confidently combines work and life: makes serious decisions, takes time for breakfast and brunch with friends, and in the evenings goes to exhibitions and theater. The images of the new collection are the epitome of coquetry and seriousness, sensuality and elegance, femininity and toughness. Each model can be easily combined with other wardrobe items, allowing girls to feel organic and confident both at a business meeting and at a social event.
The must-haves for autumn are a sleek coat and a minimalist jacket. We complete the look with trendy mini skirts, available in two versions, or classic grey pleated trousers. We complete the set with a universal sleeveless turtleneck that will easily adapt to both the business brainstorming atmosphere and the dress code for an engaging performance.

The fashion map of Moscow is growing very fast. Almost every week new showrooms, boutiques and pop-ups open on the streets of the capital. So, on August 29, an event was held on Sretenka in honor of the opening of the second boutique of the vintage brand Via Dolorosa. The founders of the brand organized a party to celebrate this event. Guests were able to get acquainted with the collection of the vintage brand, as well as take pictures in the photo booth and read tarot cards.
