An interesting incident occurred in the Tver region on the night of August 25. Here, a clubfoot jumped onto the M-11 highway, causing a huge traffic jam. A video of the incident was published by the press service of the Unified Fee Collection System.
A bear cub appeared on a section of the road in the Torzhok district. A forest visitor entered the road through a hole in the fence at the 278th kilometer and, frightened by passing cars, ran away. The cars slowed down and gathered in a long line behind the animal.
The bear ran 4 km, then climbed over the fence and went off the track. The operators of the traffic control center were called to the scene, the emergency commissioner, who was supposed to catch the lost guest and take him home to the forest. But the employee did not have time to get to the meeting place – the bear cub was left on his own.
OSSP emphasized that special fencing had been built along the serviced areas and special underground passages had been equipped for the passage of animals. However, this time the bear broke the wall and had to be repaired.
