Shooting in the movie “Cocktail” almost cost the young Tom Cruise his recognizable appearance. The artist made a mistake and got a blow to the nose.
The shooting took place in 1987. Rising star Gina Gershon starred alongside the famous actor of that time. Together they had to portray passion on the screen. The girl was very worried. She was literally afraid to breathe next to Cruise and had no experience in intimate shooting. Moreover, Mimi Rogers, whom Cruise was married to at that time, was constantly present on the set.
“He was a gentleman. I told him I was really ticklish and started hiding under the blanket. But he wanted to react and grabbed my stomach. I hit him! “I thought, ‘Oh my God, I just broke Tom Cruise’s nose.’ He defended me and said everything was fine,” the 62-year-old actor told Bravo in an interview.
But Gershon was happy to kiss Cruise. Gina said they had to kiss a lot, but she wouldn’t rule out doing more of those scenes.
