The 44-year-old pop star pulled out of a performance scheduled for Wednesday in Switzerland. She apologised on her social networking page and explained the reason for the event being cut.
“I am so sorry that I have to cancel my show in Bern this Wednesday. I do my best to perform for you every night. However, after consulting my doctor and exploring all available options, I have been informed that I will not be able to continue the show tomorrow,” the singer wrote.
Ian McKellen, 85, recently wrote about the cancellation of shows, having to take sick leave as he needs time to recover from injuries sustained in a fall from the stage.
