The vaccine is based on mRNA technology, just like the Covid-19 vaccine. This technology makes it possible to create in cells a large number of proteins and peptides encoded in mRNA, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Gintsburg told Gazeta.Ru. In this way, the patient’s immune system will be able to distinguish healthy cells from malignant cells.

This drug was tested on mice that were artificially inoculated with melanoma, and some of the mice were then given the vaccine. Scientists have recorded significant results. Tumor growth stopped in vaccinated animals during the study, but the same cannot be said for unvaccinated animals. The vaccinated mice are still alive.

It is reported that in our country, cancer patients will be injected with a vaccine against all types of cancer intramuscularly or directly into the tumor. Gunzburg explained that with this application method, the vaccine is distributed evenly throughout the body.

According to him, effectiveness depends on the style of management. Scientists will continue to work in this direction in the near future.
