The weather is starting to be nice and there are only a few days left until spring arrives. It is therefore an opportunity to renew yourself and try new ways of styling your hair. AND it’s a hairstyle that will remind you of memories (good or bad) and that happens to be at the center of current trends. This is obviously the intertwined ! But not just any braid, we’re not talking about the glued or spiky version of hers, but rather the double braid, which we wear on each side of the face, like the one we did in elementary school.
Easy to do, quick, it does not require any particular hairdressing skills to be able to do it. Another great advantage: the braid can be accessorized with many small trendy ornaments such as ribbons, rhinestones, small colored flowers or even the headband. So there are many ways to wear it so you can play with your look.
The years 2000-2010 inspire the world of beauty
The fields of fashion and beauty are closely linked. So when a massive trend like the return of the 2000-2010s begins to emerge, it is very likely that these two sectors will join forces to highlight the resulting microtrends. This is the case of the Rachel cut (worn by Jennifer Aniston in the Friends series), braids, black pencil under the eyes or even low-waisted jeans, unstructured tops or pointed shoes.
The question we ask ourselves now is When will these two industries stop recycling what has been and finally propose new trends? The future will tell…
