Except that then the Associated Press and Reuters news agencies did something huge: they removed the new photo of Kate Middleton shared by Kensington Palace from circulation, fearing that it was fake. AP also said, regarding the photo that was removed: “Upon closer inspection, it appears that the source may have manipulated the image. »

In fact, what was criticized in the initial photo was the poor alignment of Charlotte’s left hand with the cardigan sleeve and a missing part of her sleeve. Additionally, the eight-year-old princess’s hair fell sharply to her shoulders, while Kate’s zipper was lighter than elsewhere, according to theAFP.
Well, not enough to whip a cat (poor cat), but enough to cause confusion and make the British people wonder if they were honestly being taken for a (silver) tureen.
