The star of the TV series “Trigger” Maxim Matveev, who played the role of a psychotherapist, talked about his maternal phobia. He shared these details in the Bir Zamanlar… program broadcast on NTV.

Maxim admitted that to get used to the image of his hero Andrei Streletsky, he consulted with his acquaintance experts, because it was important for him to convey the hero’s situation with real reflection. The actor said that he, too, experienced childhood traumas that affected him as an adult. As it turned out, the artist has autophobia – fear of loneliness.

As it turned out, Maxim himself had his own triggers – he got lost at a train station as a child and couldn’t find his parents until a cop helped him. “I was probably five years old. This is scary, of course. I never liked being alone. It was very difficult for me. When you had to wait for someone at home, the lights were always on everywhere. I remember very well: I was afraid to walk from the room to the toilet with the light off. It was a very difficult test because if you reach behind the wall, where the switch is to turn on the light in the next room, someone will catch you,” the actor said.
