Murders, torture, rapes… The documentary produced by investigators Ksenia Bolchakova and Manon Loizeau will be broadcast on Tuesday 6 February on Arte.

Two years. With the help of testimonies and evidence, “We wanted above all to tell the story of the preparation, premeditation and involvement of the Russian state and all its structures in what is happening in Ukraine “, explained Ksenia Bolchakova to the microphone of France Inter on Monday 5 February.

The directors thus trace the chain of Russian responsibility for committing these crimes, highlighting the methods of terror and propaganda. The investigation also extends to Russia, where they interrogate several witnesses, such as a general opposed to the invasion or a young deserter.


For an hour and a half they denounce murders, torture, rapes, deportations of children and adults committed by the Russian regime in Ukraine for two years now, after the war began on February 24, 2022.

Ukraine, on the trail of the executioners, directed by Ksenia Bolchakova and Manon Loizeau, broadcast Tuesday 6 February at 8.55pm on ARTE. It is available on the arte.tv platform until 4 September.
