The PPDA deal is far from done. Already targeted by ten complaints of sexual violence, Patrick Poivre d’Arvor was accused of rape this Monday, December 18, as part of the denunciation of the writer and journalist Florence Porcel.
The PPDA continues to deny the facts
The accusation refers to events that occurred in 2009. Florence Porcel accuses the former TF1 presenter of having forced Fellatio on her. She had also reported her to another act of rape on the premises of TF1 in 2004, for which Patrick Poivre d’Arvor was placed under assisted witness status.

A first complaint from the journalist and author was rejected in June 2021, for “insufficient evidence”, according to the judges. Florence Porcel therefore immediately filed a new complaint, becoming a civil party, in order to obtain the opening of a new investigation.
For its part, the PPDA continues to deny the facts, according to its lawyers. To date he has been accused by around twenty women of rape or sexual assault. A preliminary investigation was opened against him in December 2021, in which 22 women have already been interviewed. Twenty of them were brought together in a broadcast of Mediapart testify against him.
