It’s always a pleasure to eat granola bars. The problem is that we often buy them ready-made, industrial and loaded with sometimes questionable ingredients. Not to mention sugar levels are often too high, which isn’t ideal if you’re watching your carb intake. In short, it is just a pleasure food (and there is nothing wrong with that) with little benefit for the body. But we have the solution! You absolutely can make these granola bars more nutritious! Shall we show you the recipe?
The ingredients of protein cereal bars
To make this recipe you will need:
- 5 g coconut blossom sugar
- 40 g of oatmeal
- 25 g of almonds
- 8 g of pure cocoa
- 8 cl of milk (depending on your preferences: oat, soy, almond, rice or cow’s milk, etc.)
The recipe step by step
Step no. 1: Start by chopping the almonds in the blender until you obtain a sort of smooth powder. Then pour it into a salad bowl.
Step no. 2: Add all the dry ingredients.
Step no. 3: Pour in the milk and mix.
Step no. 4: Arm yourself with a cereal bar mold (the one dedicated to financiers may be right for you) and pour the mixture into it.
Step no. 5: Cook them in the oven at 180°C for about 15 minutes. Once cooked (but still soft) let them cool.
Step no. 6: Unmold them and enjoy your meal!
