Why do we love? Genie is one of those movies where you Know already the end from the first minute. It’s the kind of comfortable (Christmas!) comedy: the actors are beautiful, there’s no violence, a beautiful love story and a genius (played by Melissa McCarthy who is perfect in the role) trashy-but-not-too-much. The promise is simple and kept: 93 minutes of escape in a snowy New York.
My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3
The field: My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 is the third part of the Greek Wedding saga. The plot picks up about a year after that of the second film: the Portokalos family is mourning the death of patriarch Gus. The Greek-American couple formed by Toula and Ian decide to return to Greece to support their family in this ordeal. It is once again the opportunity to take advantage of a cultural gap that is necessarily a pretext for misunderstandings, against the backdrop of a touching family search. We laugh, but not only!
Why do we love? 200% stereotypical characters? Check. Dance? Check. Love stories in a context of cultural divide? Check it out too.
