Yet another legal episode shakes the world of cinema in the role of Jamie Foxx, an Oscar-winning American actor known for his roles in Django Unchained, Ray OR Collateral is the subject of a sexual assault complaint.
What are the alleged facts?
The events described by the complainant occurred duringan evening in Manhattan in 2015, but the lawsuit was recently filed in the New York State Supreme Court. The 55-year-old actor is accused of sexually assaulting a woman on the rooftop terrace of a bar-restaurant.
Second Varietythe victim, accompanied by a friend, was allegedly confronted by the actor after having asked for a photo. Jamie Foxx would later be insistent towards him. After taking her aside, he would attempt to do so feel your chest then it would make him suffer digital penetration.
Always second Varietythe alleged victim asked for compensation “pain, suffering, emotional distress, anxiety and humiliation” and which would have involved medical follow-up.
Bar-restaurant accused of poor supervision
According to the complainant, a security officer witnessed the scene but did not intervene. Ultimately it was the complainant’s friend who put an end to the incident. In examining the case, New York justice is also examining the Catch NYC bar-restaurant, where the incident allegedly occurred. The plant managers are accused of not having been sufficiently vigilant.
Currently, Jamie Foxx’s teams have not reacted to these accusations.
