The secondary characters are also superb. Parents are what everyone dreams of: polite and tolerant. Marzia is the perfect friend. She always stays, even when she feels least loved.

Brief, the cast is flawless.

Other than the performance of the actors and the storyline, what sets it apart is directed by Luca Guadagnino.

Sometimes he drags his Walk-man from a tired couch to a worn-out mattress. Everything seems to have a story in this house where love is born. A story perhaps similar to that of Oliver and Elio.
