Hello to all fashionistas! Your fashion editor is in touch. There are so many trends and brands in my world that I decided to keep an online diary where I would jot down the most important things in the industry. And although such diaries are often called personal, mine are open to all readers – so that you are aware of the most interesting.
This fashion week kicked off with a very high-profile fashion show by Jacquemus and an equally wide-ranging discussion of the collection itself. Some praised Simon Port Jacquemus for such an elaborate approach, others scolded him for a poor collection and lack of new ideas. The industry’s attention was then turned to a brief performance by Marc Jacobs, lasting no more than three minutes. Then all Russian Telegram channels spread the news that Julia Fox appeared in the tights of the Russian brand Red September. At that time, everyone was discussing the MSCHF microbag, which was sold at an auction for 5.5 million rubles.
There have been some really interesting events this week, so I suggest you join me on a little digital journey through the latest news in the fashion world and learn a little more about our domestic brands, advertising campaigns and collections. Shall we begin?

Kim Kardashian knows how to sell a product better than anyone else. Any advertising campaign of her brand is juicy, beautiful and very sexy. The latest campaign was no exception. Kimusik in a black leather Skims swimsuit poses by the pool and announces that the collection will be on sale very soon. I wonder how many minutes after the sales start there will be a full sale.

Carrie Bradshaw had two loves: the first was Mr. Big and the second was shoes. Carrie once said, “It’s not that easy for an unmarried woman to get through life, so you have to be careful when choosing shoes: because they help us light up this difficult path,” and she stayed true to that idea throughout the series. He could easily spend his last $400 on a brand new pair and never pass by boutiques where he “looks at it” through the windows of the latest innovations.
And I think I know which shoes Carrie absolutely couldn’t resist. We are talking about the brand Age of Innocence, whose collection only has fantastic sandals, mules and flats. All models combine femininity, elegance and simplicity, adding a touch of urban romance to any look. I’m pretty sure her wishlist would include fuchsia satin shoes and neat strappy silver Mary Jane shoes.

What projects did you have during your student years? I’m sure the list will include term papers, boring presentations, and more. But British Higher School of Design students were much luckier. They were involved in creating an alternative advertising campaign for Trend Island. This creative project was the result of the work of students from the Fashion Shoot Production and Style and Image Making programs. And I must say, the work turned out very stylish. The children were able to bring freshness to the campaign and a unique aesthetic that reflects their own inspirations and creative personalities.

If you want to break away from the crazy rhythm of the city, urgently book an unplanned Staycation – a vacation in your hometown. And I even know the perfect place for such a reboot. At the beginning of summer, the Russian brand Around presented a branded suite in the luxury hotel Marco Polo.
The renovated interior designed by Ekaterina Rybalko provides maximum relaxation for the whole weekend. First, cute leopards designed by artist Maria Sainte for the brand’s summer collection are featured on the walls of the room. Secondly, old Soviet furniture creates a special mood. Third, in the evenings you can read books from a private collection that the brand team has put together with No Kidding Press. And of course, it is impossible not to mention record players and records. If you collect all four ingredients, you have a perfect weekend in every sense.

On June 28, a new spot appeared on the fashion map of Moscow – the first boutique of the Russian brand inni, opened in Aviapark. The first collection is the result of collaboration with South Korean manufacturers. The brand’s creative team creates garments in which style, quality and functionality are harmoniously intertwined with popular Korean designers. Meanwhile, the brand name is also inspired by South Korean culture. The central image of Inni is a pearl, symbolizing the harmony and perfection of nature.
The brand is also close to the trendy aesthetic codenamed quiet luxury. Therefore, the inni collection includes minimalist dresses, trouser suits, denim and knitwear.
