Since its inception, Simon Porte has presented through his brand Jacquemus (the maiden name of his late mother) a very assertive universe, first for women, then for men and children. But the scenography of his shows heralded a developed taste for decoration that he was just waiting to develop. Now it’s done through a first foray into design.

Simon Porte presents a collection called Objets. There is plenty of leather to compose plate holders, fruit baskets, vases or even trays. Even the clothes pegs have the right to their leather spur to be chic even in the laundry.

33-year-old designer Simon Porte Jacquemus also pays homage to Italian architect Gaetana Aulenti through a collaboration with luxury furniture e-shop Exteta to create a chair, armchair and chaise longue. . The three pieces have a yellow and white striped fabric that can evoke umbrellas and therefore invite you to relax. It’s up to you to see if you want to use it as a garden furniture or simply invite these solar and collector design pieces into your interior.
The Objets de Simon Porte collection is available from April 17 on Jacquemus.com and in the physical store of the maison (58 avenue Montaigne, Paris).
