This is our annual roundup of the biggest distribution awards presented by the British Film Institute in 2022. The BFI supports theatrical releases through two channels: cash grants from the public fund for individual titles and organizational grants, which give a distributor a grant for supporting several titles for a year.

Joachim Trier’s Cannes-winning romantic comedy The worst person in the world (£105,785) tops this year’s individual awards.
