No matter how much we love glitter, there is one huge “but” – the impossibility of washing it once and for all. You’ll be guaranteed to find sparkles in the most unexpected places in the apartment for a few more months.
This year, glitter makeup is back in fashion (we’ve written about it here), so New Year’s Eve looks like it’s going to be awesome. And read on how to remove the shimmer correctly so that the shimmer remains only on the face.
Step #1: Getting Started with a Two-Stage Tool
Use a two-phase product instead of micellar water to remove glittery makeup. Glitter “sticks” better to an oil-based product. Therefore, wet a cotton ball with the product, apply it to the spot where the glitter is for 10 seconds and repeat the process. The main thing is not to reapply an already used cotton pad. Otherwise, makeup removal can take forever.
Step #2: Use Tape
If the glitter is still on your face and isn’t going anywhere, it’s time to go overboard. Wrap some tape on your finger, stick it on your hand several times to remove excess glue and not damage your face, and then gently remove any remaining shiny particles.
Stage 3: Finishing the cleaning
-
Soothing hydrophilic oil with Centella Skin 1004, 1650 r. -
Gel for washing with salicylic acid “Krasnopolyanskaya cosmetics”, 710 r.
If you still see small shimmer particles even after whiskey, use a hydrophilic oil to wash it off. Apply to dry face, wait a few seconds and rinse with water. After the sim is finally clean, clean your skin with your usual skin care product and apply a base moisturizer.
