Christina Ricci shared what she thinks of the new Wednesday Addams starring Jenna Ortega. And this is very interesting, because Ricci started his acting career in the same role in 1991 and 1993.
Cristina, who played Wednesday in the original Addams Family movies, appeared in the new Netflix series Wednesday, but this time only as Nevermore Academy teacher Miss Thornhill.
In a recent interview with The Guardian, Ricci spoke briefly about the reboot. When asked if it was strange to still talk about the character decades after playing him, Ricci replied, “I don’t care. I talk about him in almost every interview! But I think it’s important to note that new Wednesday is different. Today’s teens deserve to have their own Wednesday.”
Meanwhile, earlier Wednesday Addams new member Jenna Ortega spoke about not expecting spiritual guidance from her predecessor and colleague Christina Ricci: “I guess when [Риччи] None of us said “Wednesday” to each other while on set, Ortega told MTV News. “I don’t think you want to interfere with my performance and feel arrogant.”
