Kroy Biermann Jr, the 15-year-old son of television personality Kim Zolciak, has been indicted by a Georgia grand jury on seven criminal charges including aggravated child molestation following allegations of sexual assault made by a female classmate.
The grand jury in Georgia handed down the indictment on Thursday, charging the teenager with aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy, aggravated sexual battery, three counts of aggravated sexual battery against a child under 16, and false imprisonment, according to legal documents obtained by the Daily Mail.
Biermann Jr is currently being held without bond at the Juvenile Court of Fulton County as prosecutors move forward with the felony case.

The indictment arrived shortly after Biermann Jr's defense attorney submitted legal documents on Wednesday afternoon requesting that a judge release the teenager from jail on bond.
In court filings, defense lawyers argued that the high school student is not a flight risk and cited his strong academic and athletic records as clear evidence of his good character.
The attorney stated in the documents that Biermann Jr is "a high school student in good standing who has demonstrated strong academic achievement," noting that he has also earned scholarship offers for his athletic prowess.
Defense attorneys emphasized that Biermann Jr never attempted to flee the state despite knowing about the criminal charges since April 2026, and highlighted that he voluntarily submitted to polygraph testing.
The defense team also requested that court proceedings be kept strictly confidential due to the juvenile status of both Biermann Jr and his alleged victim, as well as the high level of public interest stemming from Zolciak's television fame.

Gym Incident and Court Document Allegations
According to Fulton County Juvenile Court records obtained by the Daily Mail, a law enforcement officer was dispatched to North Fulton Hospital on April 24, 2026, regarding a reported sexual assault.
Police stated that the alleged victim and her father reported the incident had occurred the previous day, April 23, inside a nearby gym.
Court papers state that the girl told investigators she was at the gym when she saw Biermann Jr, who allegedly suggested that they walk together into a co-ed sauna.
According to the legal filings, accessing the sauna required walking through a family changing room, where the alleged incident took place.
The girl alleged that Biermann Jr began to touch her inside the changing room and that she explicitly told him no.
She further alleged that Biermann Jr forced her to perform oral sex on him and attempted "multiple times to have sexual intercourse with her by trying to pull down her pants."
Per the court documents, the girl alleged that when she "finally managed to get away from him.. he pulled up his pants and left."

Medical Examination and Legal Defense
Following the report on April 24, 2026, the alleged victim was examined at North Fulton Hospital in Georgia, where medical reports indicated that no evidence of male DNA was found in her mouth or vagina.
Biermann Jr was arrested last month for the alleged April 23 offense and remains in custody while his legal team works to secure his release.
Defense attorney Jason Sheffield told the Daily Mail that his client is completely innocent of the allegations.
"My client is 100 percent innocent and tried to present evidence to the arresting officer, including a passed polygraph by a notable and respected sex offender polygrapher," Sheffield told the Daily Mail.
"The fact that he's been arrested and is being held without bond is a tragedy. He is not only presumed innocent, but is in fact innocent," Sheffield stated.
"I will work tirelessly to demonstrate to the District Attorney's office the mean-spirited nature of these false allegations and to bring a close to this matter as quickly as possible," Sheffield added. "I'm asking the public not to presume the truth of these allegations and to give the families on both sides their space and privacy."

Mother Denies Accusations Against Son
Kim Zolciak, 48, has publicly responded to the allegations against her son, issuing a statement to the Daily Mail in which she described the claims as "reckless and deeply troubling."
"He categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct she has alleged," Zolciak said in her statement.
"My son voluntarily took a polygraph examination regarding these allegations and passed," Zolciak claimed. "Additionally, an examination was conducted, and no DNA belonging to my son was found."
"We remain confident that the facts and evidence will establish the truth, and we ask that people allow the proper process to take its course rather than spreading unproven allegations," she stated.
Zolciak originally gained television fame as a cast member on Bravo's reality series The Real Housewives of Atlanta before starring in her own spin-off series, Don't Be Tardy.

Family Custody Row and Birthday Tributes
The criminal indictment comes amid ongoing family conflict, as Zolciak is involved in a bitter divorce and child custody dispute with her estranged husband, former NFL football player Kroy Biermann, 40.
In June 2026, two months prior to her son's arrest, Zolciak celebrated Biermann Jr's 15th birthday by sharing a detailed tribute on Instagram.
The social media post was published two weeks after Zolciak claimed in court documents related to her custody battle that her children had been able to hear her estranged ex-husband Biermann having sex with multiple partners.
In her birthday message, Zolciak shared a collection of photographs documenting her son's upbringing and his development into a high school football player.
"Happy Birthday to the most incredible son @kjbiermann. I had no idea what was missing from my life until you arrived," Zolciak wrote in the post.
"You changed me in ways I could never fully describe. You taught me strength, compassion, patience, and what the mother-son bond truly means," she continued. "You are my heart walking outside of my body, and every day you amaze me."
Zolciak commended her son for giving her the "biggest, best hugs" and expressed pride in "the young man you have become."
"Your work ethic, dedication, discipline, and drive, especially when it comes to football, are truly admirable," Zolciak wrote. "Watching you pursue your goals with such determination inspires me."
"No matter how old you get, you will always be my baby, my greatest blessing, and one of my proudest accomplishments. I am grateful every day that I get to be your mom. I love you more than words could ever express," she added.
"I hope this year brings you happiness, success, and everything your heart desires," Zolciak concluded. "Happy Birthday, son. Keep chasing your dreams: I'll always be cheering you on. Love you always always, Mom."
