Koh-Lanta All Stars Eliminates Two Players in Twist

Contestants Tania and Charlotte were permanently eliminated from Koh-Lanta All Stars on TF1 on Tuesday night following a medical exit and reunification twist.

The broadcast saw red tribe member Laure forced to withdraw following a dislocated shoulder, while both tribes were subjected to unexpected instant vote mechanics that shattered long-standing alliances.

The episode opened on the morning following the elimination of Camille, who had been sent to the island of the banished to join existing castaways Lola and Charlotte. Upon her arrival, the two women welcomed their friend with sarcastic humor, telling her welcome to hell while expressing genuine delight at being reunited.

Back at the primary camp, Camille's former yellow tribe allies expressed no regret over their decision to cast her out. Yassin declared that he was pleased to have placed her back on the plane home, while Nicolas celebrated their reduced four-member group as a loyal and tightly bonded unit.

Medical evacuation prompts instant team swap

The competition shifted quickly to a reward challenge centered on balance and water skills. Only minutes into the event, members of the red team raised an urgent alarm to host Denis Brogniart after Laure suffered an injury underwater.

Medical evaluations confirmed that Laure had sustained a dislocated shoulder, making her continued participation impossible and triggering an official medical withdrawal. In tears, Laure expressed how painful it was to watch her journey end under such circumstances.

Under show rules, Camille was recalled from exile as the most recently eliminated participant to replace Laure on the red squad. Reinvigorated by the roster change, the red team went on to win the challenge, earning a spread of traditional Panamanian food.

However, the celebration was marked by internal friction when contestant Clémentine caused a stir by forfeiting her team's dessert course in order to secure a personal immunity necklace.

Koh-Lanta is France's television adaptation of the global Survivor reality franchise, broadcast on the private television network TF1. Hosted by French television personality Denis Brogniart, the long-running series places contestants in remote locations where they compete in physical challenges while managing limited food and shelter.

In All Stars editions, experienced participants from previous seasons return to compete against veteran rivals. The island of the banished serves as an exile arena where eliminated castaways can battle in head-to-head redemption challenges for a chance to rejoin the main game.

Tribes stunned by ambassador elimination twist

Shortly after the challenge, the yellow tribe received unsettling news when Denis Brogniart announced that the annual reunification phase would begin immediately. In a break from traditional format, the customary meeting of tribal ambassadors was eliminated entirely.

Instead, every player was instructed to vote immediately and in secret against a member of their own team, without any prior deliberation with campmates.

The requirement created a tactical dilemma for the four remaining yellow tribe members. Voting rounds resulted in two consecutive ties between Yassin and Nicolas, forcing the pair to submit their survival in the game to random chance. Nicolas drew the black ball from the bag, ending his stint in the main game, while Yassin vented frustration after discovering that his ally Christina had voted against him.

The red tribe faced an identical voting process immediately following their post-challenge meal. Their six adventurers voted unanimously to eliminate Tania. Unbeknownst to either tribe, the separate votes resulted in the simultaneous removal of both members of a partnership originally formed during the 2023 Sacred Fire season of the series.

Final duel decides permanent exits

Rather than leaving the location, Nicolas and Tania were sent to the island of the banished, where an immediate redemption challenge awaited them against Charlotte and Lola. The four castaways competed in a balance test on wooden beams, with the top two finishers earning reinstatement into the main competition.

Charlotte was the first contestant to lose her footing and fall into the water, followed shortly after by Tania. Their falls confirmed their permanent elimination from the season.

Nicolas and Lola completed the challenge successfully, each securing an immunity necklace along with the right to re-enter the game as the tribes merge. Their return sets up a tense continuation for next week's episode, as both players rejoin the unified group after being voted out by their former yellow tribe mates.
