Kelsey Parker responded to a troll on Wednesday who told her to stop thinking about her late husband, The Wanted singer Tom Parker, on what would have been his 37th birthday.

Tom Parker died aged 33 from an inoperable brain tumour on March 30, 2022. The couple shared two children together, Aurelia, six, and Bodhi, four.

Kelsey Parker found love again with partner Will Lindsay and is currently pregnant with their rainbow baby. The couple suffered a stillbirth in June 2025, losing their son, Phoenix, at 39 weeks.

Response to Online Troll
Kelsey Parker posted an emotional message on Instagram on Wednesday about missing Tom Parker on his heavenly birthday. A social media user sent her a message telling her to stop thinking about her late husband.

The troll wrote: "Yes I am going to sound like a c*** but you need to stop thinking about your ex-husband who has passed away. You have moved on. You are in a new relationship. Think of how this new guy is feeling hearing how much you care about your ex-husband? That is such a kick in the teeth to the new guy, forget about that, he is your future and this new baby, stop living in the past."

Kelsey Parker reshared the message and replied: "Tom wasn't my ex-husband. He was my husband, and he died. There is a huge difference. Loving someone who has died doesn't stop because you're in a new relationship. Grief isn't something you 'move on' from or switch off. You learn to carry it alongside the life you continue to build."
She continued: "Will understands that, just as he still loves and remembers his own dad who died when he was 21. I would never expect him to stop talking about his dad, and he would never expect me to stop talking about Tom. My past, my present and my future can all exist together. They're not mutually exclusive."
Tributes From Bandmates and Friends
Loved ones marked Tom Parker's heavenly birthday on social media on Wednesday. His The Wanted bandmate Nathan Sykes shared a tribute picture, writing: "Can't sleep, just found this picture. Made me smile. He was wonderful, my hair was something. Happy birthday mate".
Bandmate Siva Kaneswaran wrote: "Happy birthday brother".

Darren Day also posted a tribute, writing: "This is my favourite picture of Tom. I felt very paternal over this beautiful boy. We shared a dressing room. He would tell me the plans for him and his amazing family. To say he was taken too soon… would be an enormous understatement. Happy birthday my lovely mate. I think of you so often. You're honestly never far away from my thoughts and prayers buddy. 'Til we meet again Tom."
