Jesy Nelson is reportedly in advanced talks to sign up for the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The singer, 35, is said to be negotiating a six-figure deal to enter the Australian jungle for the new series, with show bosses hoping she will open up about why she really left Little Mix.

Nelson is thought to have had a string of meetings with show bosses, with insiders saying the programme will be just what she needs after a tough couple of years.

Raising awareness for SMA

The Boyz hitmaker announced in January 2026 that her twin daughters, Ocean and Story, who she shares with her ex Zion Foster, had been diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a genetic condition that causes progressive muscle wasting and weakness.

Nelson has continued to raise awareness of the disease, and a stint on the ITV show is thought to be a way of helping her spread the message to millions of viewers.

'A huge boost professionally and personally'

A source told The Sun: "Jesy has been negotiating with ITV for weeks and now the talks are at a very promising stage. For Jesy, doing I'm A Celebrity would be a huge boost for her professionally as well as personally."

"Continuing to raise awareness around SMA for her girls is something Jesy is very keen to do, and she knows she can use a platform like I'm A Celebrity to reach millions," the source added.

The insider said Nelson, who loves a challenge, is a huge fan of the show and would love for the public to see a different side of her. "It would be very hard for her to be away from her daughters for three weeks, but she wants to make them proud," they said.

ITV bosses are said to be thrilled to have made it to this stage of negotiations with the performer and are hoping she will sign a contract in the coming weeks. Representatives for ITV and Nelson have been approached for comment.

There has been no love lost between the singers since. Bandmate Perrie Edwards revealed in June that she had cut out the "difficult" Nelson from her life for good, as she addressed the ongoing Little Mix feud.

In her recent documentary, Nelson said she had not seen her former bandmate since leaving the group more than five years ago, though she did not rule out the possibility of a reunion.

Edwards has since said a reunion of the four is very unlikely, as Nelson "upset and hurt me in a way where there is no going back."

New relationship with Ben Davies

The jungle talks come after Nelson proudly went Instagram official with her new boyfriend, Ben Davies, on Thursday, after the pair enjoyed a date night at the National Television Awards.

The singer walked the red carpet solo for the ceremony on Tuesday, though Davies was later spotted sitting beside her in the audience as she was nominated in the Authored Documentary category.

Taking to Instagram in the days following the ceremony, the former Little Mix star officially confirmed the relationship, posting photographs of the pair posing together in matching all-black outfits from the NTAs.

Having previously shared pictures of her outfit and glam from her hotel room, Nelson used her latest post to focus on the romance, captioning it "Forgot to mention..." alongside a Speak-No-Evil Monkey emoji and a black heart, hinting she had been keeping the relationship a secret.

Nelson wore a Jessica Rabbit-style black strapless dress with matching black PVC long gloves, teamed with a long thigh-split that showed off her leg. Davies wore a black scoop-neck vest that showed off his tattoos, paired with a black blazer and trousers.

The post drew a wave of comments from fans, who were quick to share their delight at her new relationship, which follows her split from Zion Foster at the beginning of the year.
