Jennifer Lopez wore a low-cut red dress for a dinner outing in New York City on Wednesday night with her manager Benny Medina.
The 57-year-old singer and actress was photographed leaving Or’esh, a Michelin-starred Mediterranean restaurant in Manhattan. Her ankle-length fit-and-flare dress featured a plunging neckline, which she paired with beige slide heels that added several inches to her height and a matching beige handbag. Lopez kept her accessories minimal, wearing no necklace to compete with the daring outfit.

Earlier in the week, Lopez was seen wearing workout gear during an outing in the city with her 18-year-old child Oskar. The two enjoyed lunch on Tuesday at Dante, a landmark restaurant located in the West Village neighborhood of Manhattan. Oskar was born Emme and came out as transgender with a new name and he/him pronouns in late May.

College Acceptances and Family Milestones
Oskar is set to attend Sarah Lawrence College this fall. The private liberal arts college, located in Westchester County, New York, is widely recognized for its programs in the performing arts and humanities. Oskar plans to study theater and studio arts at the institution.
Oskar's twin brother, Max, is also gearing up for college this semester. Lopez has not publicly revealed the specific university Max will attend. Both teenagers achieved admission to all five higher education institutions to which they applied, and both earned academic scholarships at each school.
Lopez shares her twin children with her ex-husband, singer Marc Anthony, to whom she was married from 2004 to 2014. In a June interview with the entertainment news program Extra, Lopez expressed her pride in her children's academic success. "I am so proud that they set goals for themselves," Lopez said. "They all got into all five colleges that they applied to. They both got a scholarship to each!"
Speaking on the comedy podcast SmartLess later that month, hosted by actors Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes, Lopez reflected on her journey raising the twins. "Now, I can really look at my life, appreciate it for what it is and what I've created for myself and be really happy," she said. "Both my kids got into all their colleges. They both got scholarships and they're going where they want to go. I was like, 'You did that s*** all by yourself. That’s great.' Like, 'You had very little help,' you know?"

Navigating Empty Nest Syndrome
With both children departing for university campuses, Lopez is facing an empty nest for the first time. The performer admitted that she had not anticipated how emotional the transition would be until her children were on the brink of leaving home.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the late-night talk show broadcast on Bravo, Lopez opened up about the major life shift. "It's an emotional time. It's been the three of us. People have come in and out of my life, but it's been the three of us. They've always been there, and I've always been there," Lopez told host Andy Cohen. "I just never thought they would not be there. I just never thought that far ahead. I thought, too, that they're so independent. I've given them roots and wings."

Summer Vacation Across Italy
Before her children head off to college, Lopez treated them to a memorable road trip vacation across Italy in August. She documented their trip on social media, sharing a 20-photo carousel with the caption: "Road tripping with my coconuts before they head off to college."
The family getaway included stops at major historical and cultural landmarks across Italy. They visited the ancient Colosseum in Rome and viewed Leonardo da Vinci's famous Renaissance mural, The Last Supper, housed at Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan. Their vacation also included a scenic gondola ride, dining at local Italian restaurants, and shopping trips to luxury Italian fashion boutiques including Antonio Marras and Brunello Cucinelli.

Upcoming Screen Projects
Alongside her family milestones, Lopez continues her career in the entertainment industry with upcoming feature film projects. She is scheduled to star in the new Netflix movie The Last Mrs Parrish, which is slated for release in late 2026 or early 2027.
Earlier in the summer, Lopez attended the New York premiere of her feature film Office Romance on June 2.
