Borges also confirmed the breakup on Saturday, revealing that she and Malfitano had already been separated for two months prior to making the news public.

The actress acknowledged that the split had not been easy for either of them, explaining that recurring problems had gradually worn down their relationship over time. She described the period as a very delicate moment, but stressed that life does not stop and follows its natural course, adding that because everything in life is transitory, the difficulty will pass.

Romance on A Fazenda

The couple first formed a close bond during the 14th season of the popular Brazilian reality show A Fazenda. Borges emerged as the champion of that season, and the two performers publicly confirmed that they were in a relationship shortly after the broadcast concluded.

Both actors are longtime fixtures of Brazilian entertainment with careers spanning more than two decades. Malfitano rose to national fame in the early 2000s in the teen soap opera Malhação before starring in numerous telenovelas. Borges began her television career alongside host Xuxa before moving into acting, taking on prominent roles in major dramas including Senhora do Destino.

A Fazenda, broadcast by Brazilian television network Record, is one of the most prominent reality competitions in the country. Based on the international format The Farm, the series isolates celebrity contestants on a working rural property, where they take care of farm animals and compete in weekly public votes.
