Greek entrepreneur and influencer Ioanna Touni has travelled to Istanbul for a one-day trip to attend the wedding of a childhood friend and former classmate. The 33-year-old business owner, who has built a major online presence in Greece, was accompanied on the journey by her partner, Dimitris Spyridonidis, and her son, Paris.
During their short stay in Turkey's largest city, Touni shared video clips from their hotel with her social media followers. The posts showcased the view from their room and featured various areas of the hotel property. She also published a video showing Spyridonidis playing with young Paris, adding a humorous caption asking why the two played together so well.
Touni has mentioned in the past that Spyridonidis enjoys a particularly good relationship with her son, explaining that the two have developed their own special bond over time.
Overnight stay in Turkey
Istanbul routinely serves as a transit stop during Touni's overseas travel. She frequently uses the Turkish metropolis and its major international airline hub to connect to flights heading toward long-distance and exotic locations. On this occasion, however, she did not confine her visit to a brief layover at the airport, opting instead to stay in the city overnight.
This trip was not Touni's first visit to Turkey. In the autumn of 2024, she travelled to the central region of Cappadocia for a holiday before beginning her relationship with Spyridonidis. Cappadocia is a popular tourist destination in central Anatolia, famous worldwide for its unique geological fairy chimney rock formations, subterranean cities, and scenic hot air balloon flights.
The getaway to Turkey comes shortly after another international holiday for the family. Just a few days earlier, Touni had been in the Maldives alongside her son and partner, posting numerous photographs and videos of their exotic trip across her social media accounts. The Maldives is a tropical archipelagic nation situated in the Indian Ocean. The recent travels also included a trip to Paris, the capital of France.
