Spanish model Georgina Rodriguez, the fiancee of Portuguese Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo, has responded to online criticism regarding her physical appearance. The 32-year-old model and blogger of Argentine origin posted her response on Instagram.
Social media users called Rodriguez fat following a recent vacation on a yacht. Rodriguez stated that the comments caused her concern because she makes her living through her image.
Ronaldo reassured his fiancee by calling her an ideal woman, a good person, and a beauty with a luxurious figure. Rodriguez noted that she loves her body, accepts the changes occurring with it, and does not view meeting beauty standards as an indicator of success.
Response to Online Critics
The couple strives to pass those values to their children. Rodriguez stated that she is a mother of six wonderful children, three of whom are girls who will one day become great women.
She added that she and Ronaldo want to teach their children that a person's worth can never depend on appearance or the opinions of strangers. She expressed deep pride in Ronaldo for the values he transmits as a father and a man.
In July, Rodriguez and Ronaldo showed off rings featuring large diamonds.
