Torun, Poland
The publication describes Torun as a medieval gem on a riverbank that still does not get the attention it deserves, while Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk, and Wroclaw attract most of the interest. It notes that the absence of an international airport, with the nearest Ryanair base 90 miles away in Poznan, likely keeps visitor numbers low.
