Oscar-nominated actor Harvey Keitel (Hyenas, The Irish) and Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of comfort, Black Widow) have signed on to star in the action thriller Paradox effect. The film is directed by directed by Scott Weitrob (Home), with the script written by Samuel Barlett, Andrea Iervolino and Ferdinando Dell’Omo.
In the story, “an innocent woman (Kurylenko) is forced to confront a dangerous boss (Keitel) who has kidnapped her young daughter and is holding her hostage. She teams up with a corrupt Interpol agent, whose son is also being held hostage, to rob various criminals and raise the ransom to save their offspring. Together they have one hour to save their families from the wrath of Keitel’s character.
It feels like a movie we’ve all seen before, but the talent involved is pretty good. Will you give this film a chance? We’ll let you know when we know more and when a trailer is available.
