Tom Cruise is famous for performing his own stunts and turning one Mission: impossible – dead reckoning stunt, she wished Top Gun: Maverick have a safe and happy holiday.
The advertisement in honor of Top Gun: Maverick It premiered on Thursday, December 22nd on Paramount+ and debuted during the CBS telecast of the NFL game pitting the Cincinnati Bengals against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
In the TV spot, Cruise appears in the air preparing to jump from a helicopter in South Africa and notices that he is filming. Mission: impossible – dead reckoning Part One & Two.
“I didn’t want the year to end without thanking you all for coming to the theaters and thanking you for your support Top Gun: Maverick,” he said.
Director Christopher McQuarrie taps Cruise on the shoulder to remind him that they really need to move.
“We’ve got to get that shot,” Cruise says before jumping.
As Cruise freefalls, he adds: “Thank you for your support Top Gun: Maverick and thank you for allowing us to entertain you, it really is the honor of a lifetime. Congratulations.”
After noticing that he was out of altitude, Cruise said before drifting off: “You have a very safe and happy vacation. See you in the movie.”
