For all the lovers of love, drama, romance series and fans of j-drama, dorama and k-drama, Netflix has released a new series which may well become your favorite and for now it is giving people something to speak but in a positive way. On Nov. 24, the streaming giant released ‘The first love’, a youthful love story that has become a worldwide sensation.

The series is full of tender, romantic, beautiful and inspiring moments. It concerns ‘First Love’, also directed and written by Yuri Kanchikua production that is inspired by two of Hikaru Utada’s songs. The first is the series’ namesake, “First Love”, while the second developed theme is “Hatsukoi”, although the project also contains other songs that have become popular in J-Pop.

The Netflix’s new j-drama, includes in addition to the songs that have become a sensation, a live studio performance by singer Kikaru Utada. The series was moving, but it is true that it does not satisfy all tastes in the world, rather it is a drama aimed at a teenage audience who, as the name explains, are experiencing love for the first time. ‘First Love’ a romantic journey through three decades

The love story unfolds across the generations, closely following a high school sweetheart couple, Yae Noguchi and Takeru Satoh, who fell in love at this high school they attended in the 1990s. Growing up, their lives continued and each takes its course following the directions of fate, of course, like everyone else. But ten years later, in 2000, they realize that neither their story nor their love is over.

Fate didn’t keep them together, but one of the lovers is about to get engaged, while the other is already divorced and has a son who is falling in love for the first time, just like him. Through the 9 episodes of the series, the story shows truly touching moments that make us remember the first time we fell in love, yes it is forbidden to mark your ex, unless you have a feeling that he is the love of your life .

Looking back on the memories of their unforgettable first love spanning 20 years, the couple takes us on a journey through three different decades, starting their story in the 1990s, 2000s and up to the present day. “Someone once said that life is like a jigsaw puzzle,” describes the trailer for the j-drama. The intention of the series, according to its director, is to show what would have happened if the two young men hadn’t met as the first love of their lives.
