There is no superhero movie worthy of the name without at least one great veteran star to give its cast an edge. ‘Black Adam’ was privileged to have Pierce Brosnanwho was already wondering why he had to wait so long to wear a cloak: “I always wondered when I was going to be asked to be part of the superhero realm” He tells us in the interview we share. That wait was not in vain, as the Irishman becomes one of the most interesting characters in the DC catalog: Kent Nelson, Doctor Fate.
this character, one of the founding members of the Justice Society, has some similarities to the mystical doctor of competition, Doctor Strange, but Kent had been in the skits for 20 years before Stephen made an appearance. In Jaume Collet-Serra’s film we already meet an experienced Doctor Fate, who has lived many adventures together with Hawkman (Aldis Hodge), “his commander” as Brosnan describes him. Together, and accompanied by Cyclone (Quintessa Swindell) and Atombreaker (Noah Centineo), they will travel to Kahndaq, in the Middle East, to explain to a superman named Teth Adam (Dwayne Johnson) how a superhero should dispense justice.

The most powerful
Brosnan admits that he doesn’t know much about Doctor Fate and his abilities as a wizard and oracle: “One of my four children, who understands this universe, was very excited. He said to me: ‘Dad, you are the most powerful and one of the most loved since it was created in 1942′” tell us. Although his opportunity for him in the superhero field has come a long time ago, he says: “Doctor Fate and I met at the perfect time”.
Far from considering these adventures as something secondary, Pierce Brosnan states: “I am so proud of this movie”. The highlights of our talk are the strong bond he made with Aldis Hodge and how natural the friendship between Kent Nelson and Carter Hall emerged on screen. And he only has compliments for the Spanish director, whom he considers “the greatest superhero of all”. But if she has to be with a mythical character, it’s clear: “Batman was my favorite and I loved the Silver Surfer”.
“Black Adam” is already in the halls.
