RETURN TO SILENT HILL Teaser Trailer From the director of the original film SILENT HILL

I have some interesting news for you all silent Hill fans out there! A new movie was recently announced! It is entitled Return to Silent Hilland is commanded by Cristophe GansFor the uninitiated, Gans is the director of the original 2006 silent Hill!

This is great news! That original movie was incredible and is easily one of the best movie game adaptations that have ever been made. A video was released with a discussion of Gans and the producer Victor Hadida talking about the film, along with some concept art.

The new film will be based on the story of Silent Hill 2, and it is said to be more of a psychological horror story. Hadida shared that the plan is to “make it modern, but also very faithful to the video game” and will include familiar monsters, including the nightmare Pyramid Head, but will have an updated design for the film.

Gans talked about the story saying, “The film tells the story of a young boy who returns to Silent Hill, where he has met a great love and what he will find is a pure nightmare.”

Hadida added: “In the first silent Hill, we were exploring a world, the world of this small town, completely enclosed in the fog. It was like being trapped in a twilight zone, but in the second game the creators of the game changed the rules. ”

The story will be told from the perspective of character James Sunderland. He arrives in town after receiving a letter from his wife Mary. Now, this is where things all get quiet, Mary died three years ago. “At the center, there is also the idea of the myth of Orpheus, and whether a man can go to the depths of Hell to bring back the soul or the person he loved most in his life than him”.

I love the silent Hill franchise and I’m a huge fan of the original movie, so I’m pretty excited about the next movie!
