Review: WEREWOLF BY NIGHT is a damn awesome and monstrous Marvel movie!

When that first trailer for Marvel Werewolf at night fell, did not expect what i saw and loved it! That trailer anticipated a movie that was going to be a throwback to the classic black and white horror movies of the 1930s and 1940s, and I love those movies! They don’t make movies like that anymore, then suddenly Marvel and the director come along Michele Giacchino trying to experiment with that style and have some fun!

I am thrilled to tell you Werewolf at night it’s the awesome monster movie I hoped it was! The creative team really committed to that classic horror movie style and from start to finish I was fascinated and had a blast watching this dark story unfold!

The story centers on a group of monster hunters who have come together to hunt down and kill a deadly creature. The hunter who manages to take down the monster and survive the night will be rewarded with the position of leading the group of monster hunters. I will not go into any more details on the history of this. I’ll let you experience the experience for yourself when you watch the movie.

I liked the whole vibe of the series and particularly liked the way they handled the monsters, in particular Gael Garcia BernalThe werewolf at night. When he does his transformation, things are taken to a new level of wonder. The way they handled it was perfect! It truly honors those classic horror movies from the past. But they do update some things, like action sequences.

I’ll just say I’ve never seen a werewolf fight like that before! There are also some great sequences involving unexpected violence, gore and gore for a Marvel project. I think they felt a little more comfortable doing that sort of thing with the whole black and white aspect of the film. I mean, there are a couple of cases where it comes into play Kill Bill territory of violence, which I did not expect.

Werewolf at night it’s easily one of my favorite Marvel projects. His style, storytelling, characters and content caught my attention. Giacchino did a great job with this film and I hope to see him direct more films in the future! It also included the cast of the film Laura Donnelly like Elsa Bloodstone, Harriet Sansom Harris like Verusa, Leonardo Nam like Simone, Eugenia Bondurant how Linda, Kirk R. Thatcher like Giovan, e Jaycob Maya like Jake Gomez. They were all as fantastic as the characters they played.

I hope you all enjoy as much as I enjoyed watching Werewolf at night!
